More than just après-ski
Bansko has a reputation that goes well beyond the ski slopes. When the lifts close, the town comes alive — and whether you're after a quiet craft beer by a log fire or a full-on night out, you'll find it here.
The main strip along Pirin Street and the old town square are packed with bars, mehanas, and clubs. Most places don't really get going until 10pm, and plenty stay open until 4 or 5am during ski season.

Things worth knowing
Bansko nightlife starts late. Don't bother heading out before 10pm — most places are quiet until then.
Drinks are very cheap by Western European standards. A beer in a bar is typically 3–5 BGN (€1.50–2.50).
Everything is within walking distance. The main strip, old town bars, and clubs are all a short walk from each other.
Peak season (January–March) is when nightlife is at its best. Some venues close or reduce hours in the shoulder months.
The old town mehanas are great for an early evening drink before heading to the bars. Order a rakia and some meze to start the night properly.
